Enid graduated from Bird Island High School in Minnesota and attended the University of Wisconsin at Menomonie, earning a degree in Merchandising.
She began her service for Plummer Insurance in 1988 as a crop insurance specialist. Together with her husband, Ken, they own and manage a farm. They have two children, Thomas and Renae.
Enid is a member of the All Souls Catholic Church and the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce. She previously owned and operated a dance performance group.
