Rob Robinson is a life-long resident of Sidney, Nebraska whose over four decades of experience and service were honored and recognized by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors in 2019.
Rob began his insurance career in 1977, when he went to work for his father’s business, the Ackerman-Robinson Agency after attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He purchased the agency in 1983, and after nearly two decades folded it into Points West Insurance; now Plummer Insurance.
Rob received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1979, and is an active member of the Saint Patrick’s Church in Sidney, Nebraska; the Treasurer of the Sidney Knights of Columbus; and a board member of the Sidney Regional Medical Center for over 20 years.
Rob and his wife Pamela have two living children, James Robinson and Mollie Thompson.
